Studying at Coventry University as a Product Designer has enabled me to develop vital skills throughout the entirety of projects. All great projects are driven from research and understanding the current and future problems that need resolving. Consideration for the future is embedded into my designs and is highlighted through my passion of increasing sustainability. I am constantly learning and practising daily to enhance both my knowledge and my skills. Currently, I am seeking a junior design role where I can be immersed into industry and evolve as a professional designer.

HYDROOT stemmed from the demand for food in a growing population in urban areas, solely focusing on increasing self-sustainability and community. The product enables users to grow their own produce indoors using hydroponic technologies, where the pressures and limitations of outdoor gardening are eliminated. Users receive a kit to grow seedlings at home until they are ready to be planted within the product. The satisfaction of gardening without the constraints. HYDROOT provides the opportunity to unite users by sharing produce as well as creating a communal gathering space. Not only does the product increase self-sustainability it also is manufactured from sustainable and recycled materials.
