About me: I am a person who has always been passionate about art and design. During my undergraduate studies I tried to take a humanistic approach to every project. I believe that combining creative thinking with an understanding of human needs and context leads to designs that have a positive impact on the environment as well as people’s wellbeing.

About the project: Situated in a historical area affected by the pollution, the project draws attention to the problem of waste generation. By showing that objects can have multiple lives it aims to restore the community that used to be in Jewellery Quarter but in a new, environmentally friendly way that focuses on reusing things rather than making and buying new ones. The building serves a functional as well as a communicative purpose. By inviting public to participate in designing this place it sends the message that the condition of the environment depends on them.
