I love stories. They can often alter my perspective of the world and that’s really fascinating to me. I

also love art for the same reasons. Animation in particular offers such scope for storytelling and can really bring stories to life. Many little elements in what I have watched and read have influenced my style of drawing and have helped me to develop and progress as far as I am.

This is a short stoy set in Sierra Leone, West Africa. A starving warthog eyes a large house, and attempts to sneak in to find something to eat.

My family are native to Sierra Leone so I felt it'd be a nice chage of pace to set the story in a unique location like that. I used to visit a lot as a kid and even based the design of the house on my Grandmother's house. As well as telling a purely visual story featuring little to no dialogue, it features my favourite west african dish, PLANTAIN.

Enjoy!
