Emma Ranic

I am a multidisciplinary artist who focuses on themes of childhood and nostalgia within my work. My works span throughout illustration, installation and sculpture.

I use these mediums to help depict messages concerning social issues such as commercialisation, consumerism, and environmental awareness. I explore these issues by creating playful experiences, often linking back to the concept of toys and collectability.

The nostalgia present in my work is used to emphasise the connection between past, present, and future generations. I create installations to behave as ‘time capsules’, allowing children to experience engaging interactive spaces and encourages adults to look past the rose-tinted glasses of their childhood.
