This polar exploration concept is mainly designed for scientific researchers and adventure enthusiasts. It refers to the design philosophy of the space station to establish modular connection between vehicles, to form a multi-functional local small base for scientific research and life. In addition, due to the special topography (glacial landform) of the North and South poles, the vehicle with caterpillar track could adapt to complex terrain (such as ice-surface, snow-land and ocean) and has strong motorised transport capacity. The vehicle will leave the formed base when needed, and users will drive it to a target location for scientific research and field surveys. There is sufficient equipment and supplies for the user to live on the vehicle for about ten days to half a month. In addition, it is a hybrid, self-driving device, which means that the team can use the remote control to pilot it and configure the routes and waypoints to follow. Basically, it is hoped that this polar exploration vehicle could improve the field working conditions of researchers, reduce work risks and fatigue levels, and contribute to the development of polar research.
