Mattie Osborne

My name is Mattie, and I am a vocal queer journalist, beginning academic into social and activist journalism in 21st century media. My work often mixes social justice, activism and political journalism in with a menagerie of different outlets from livestreams and blogging, to audio productions such as podcasts and radio. My biggest specialties lie though in understanding social media; it's environments, its culture and how its being utilised to uplift and voice social concerns. I'm hoping one day to complete my PHD in Political Journalism focusing on queer aesthetics within journalism.
