Now faced with the rapid development of cities, more and more people want to escape from the city to pursue the more at ease and comfortable life in the countryside, but still want to live under the trend of urbanisation so escape is not the final solution. Perhaps the ability for people to link with the city needs to be covered in future travel options.
This project starts from the perspective of the underground trend and analyses the effect of this trend for future urban transportation and for the future way of life. The project is called 'Citycoming' and will be mainly aimed at young people living in the future urban underground who often travel within short or medium range. The specific time and place will be Singapore in 2065. As the Singapore government has been expanding the underground urban space in previous years, a complete underground urban network has been formed which only includes residential areas, business districts, underground transportation and other basic infrastructure.
