Alina Morar

Hello! My name is Alina and I am from Romania. I've joined the CU community in September 2019, when I started my MA in Teaching English and Applied Linguistics. This is one of the best decisions I've ever because I've learned a lot, professionally and personally. I've developed my teaching skills, I've learned new teaching techniques, I've become more confident and more creative. Also, I've become more tolerant, I've learned to talk less and to listen more - I've grown a lot as a person.

I've met amazing people and I've made the kind of friendships that I know will last for a lifetime. It was a wonderful experience and I truly recommend it to all the students who want to push beyond their limits and achieve their greatest goals. This course is challenging, and it can get difficult at times, but it is worth the effort and the hours spent in the library. The teachers on this course are always supportive, helpful and responsive. I must mention that our teachers were all brilliant with online teaching and they overcame every challenge in a time where no one was prepared for a global pandemic. I am very grateful. It's been an amazing academic journey!
