Natalia Sobek

I was born in Poland in late 80's. For the last 13 years I have lived in England where I decided to undertake a second degree, to help me pursue a dream career in fashion. Fashion and art have always been a part of my life and few years ago I found the courage to let my passion become my main profession. 

During my course I completed an internship with designer Fannie Schiavoni in Barcelona. It gave me a wider understanding of running a fashion company. There are many skills that I developed whilst on placement. Digital and traditional designing, fluency in Adobe design software, product development, manufacturing and organising busy company schedules. My pre-University work experience includes a managerial role for 7 years in the catering industry. This experience is essential as I aim to set up my own business in the near future.

The main inspiration for my collection comes from Spanish folk heritage. I have had the opportunity to live in Spain and gain a good insight into their culture and local traditions. Sustainability is a key focus of my collection  and I have used sustainably sourced natural fabrics throughout my collection.
