Georgia Bond

Georgia Bond is a photographer with a process-driven, socially engaged practice, exploring how photography can be used as a tool to represent and give voice to people. Working within community settings, Bond uses strategies of collaboration in work she facilitates and participates in, recognizing the contributions and experiences of her collaborators as co-constructors of the work. 

These methodologies of social engagement allow Bond to recognize the positive impact of art by, for, and with communities, specifically of young people, demonstrating the importance of art and creativity and its relationship to mental health.  Through different forms of community engagement, Georgia Bond aims to create a dialogue around the needs of communities, and their representation, to influence, inform, and ultimately, to encourage change.
