PURA is an attachable water filter that can be fitted to PET bottles. Primarily targeted towards refugees, specifically children in Uganda, PURA makes use of existing filtration technology and provides safe water to the users in need.

Key features include a rotating handle which hides and reveals the mouthpiece in order to improve hygiene. Also included is a replaceable Water-To-Go™ filter that uses three technologies to remove 99.99% of biological contaminants as well as other harmful chemicals and metals.

PURA would be distributed as a part of a charity aid scheme such as in conjunction with WaterAid, Save the Children and the UNCHR. The product would be working in tandem with a recycling scheme that would sort local recycled bottles and provide the users with convenient drinking vessels. This scheme would also reduce the impact on the environment as less plastic is sent to landfill.
