I am a multi-disciplinary designer from Croydon, South London; driven by an urge to reshape the world by contributing my ideas to create/redefine experiences using products in physical and digital form. I am also a self-taught graphic illustrator and UX/UI designer.
The Haiku sneaker is an innovative footwear product that aims to fundamentally change the current culture of the footwear industry, via adapting circular economy principles in the hopes of making the footwear industry eliminate waste from the lifecycle and repurpose those resources once they are no longer fit for purpose.
The algae EVA foam is recyclable, meaning the entire main boy of the sneaker can be broken down back into EVA granules to be recycled into a new EVA polymer resin. The regenerated nylon fibres and rPET can be broken back down into its individual strands.
