I am pursuing a career in Product Design because I am passionate about the process. I have experience in applying design thinking to many contexts to find user-centred solutions. I think that my attention to detail during the research (empathy) phase of my projects enables more desirable final outcomes.

Recently, I completed a two-week, full time, paid work placement at Popsa headquarters in Central London. This placement exposed me to many areas (graphic design, photography, marketing) of design due to the company’s start up nature. During lockdown, I have continued this work experience virtually.

Social attitudes have changed. When consumers use a product or a service that originates from a ‘dirty’ industry they feel guilty but cannot improve their ways as there are no competitive alternatives.

Conquest is the tool consumers need to enable a low carbon, air travel experience. This product is modular which aids with efficient packing to reduce weight and space and is also smart, which allows it to be tracked and carbon offset journeys. Using the eggshell principal within the design of the product improved robustness and allowed the wall thickness to be reduced and therefore reducing weight.
