I have Interned in the fast paced environment of design consultancies including Design Storz, Austria (6 months) and VanBerlo, The Netherlands (6 months). Insulite, the revolutionary artificial pancreas is my final major project, and is all about natural insulin management. Giving patients more control over their type 1 diabetes and allowing them to live a normal life. As a type 1 Diabetic I understand the complexities of this condition, giving me valuable insight into the user’s needs. Insulite’s system means no more finger pricks and injections. This discrete and wearable artificial pancreas, paired with an intuitive app interface, allows maximum control with the automatic insulin injections these are adjusted by the measured blood glucose level. Insulite has repeat prescription flexi-sensors containing needle and sensor which are replaced every 14 days. Insulite comes with a safe and sterile environment to store and charge your Insulite device. A quiet and minimal design to blend into the home setting.
