I was lucky enough to spend 12 months in Nuremberg, Germany as a footwear design intern for PUMA Teamsport. This helped me to develop my skill set within design massively and encourage me more than ever to pursue a career in performance footwear design.

After completing my Internship, I came back to University to complete my Final Major Project, Assero.

Assero is a protective football boot which tackles the risk of injury to the foot and ankle. Through design research, materials, and technology branding, this football boot aims to fill the gap of safety, which is often be overlooked in the current football market.
