I am a designer who takes pleasure in creating concepts with depth that are well thought-out, efficient and spark joy in their users. I enjoy designing in a holistic fashion, considering every aspect in detail to create satisfying concepts. I am now looking for the next step in my design career and improving the skills I have proven at my time at Coventry University and on placement at dpa Lighting Consultants (12 months).

In the UK, building, fracking and industrial sites must comply with government legislation on the amount of light pollution being produced in order to reduce the effects on residents, roads and wildlife. To make sure they meet the requirements, the amount of light trespass is monitored and formatted into a report that is submitted to the relevant authorities. This monitoring method is very time consuming and long-winded.

Lux is a product that combines the functions from different products into one to create a cohesive user experience that not only saves a huge amount of time and money but also lessens the associated risks of measuring light. Lux was designed using extensive market and further research to create a holistic functional, efficient design.
