Gregory Aaron

My name is Gregory Aaron and my project is a sci-fi movie prop “The Europa Human Escape Vehicle.” I chose this project and developed it in such a way to draw focus to my career aspirations to be a clay modeller. I have a strong passion for all things 3D and feel my efforts with this helped curate an effective final piece. In 2019 I was involved in a live industry collaboration with Lexmoto Ltd, at the National Transport Design centre, as an Alias modeller over the course of two months. I used this experience to enhance my skillset in 3D and was able to apply this to my final project, here at Coventry University. This included the confidence to design and build the steel stand on which the clay model is mounted; drawn up in Autodesk Alias, laser cut and then welded in house at the university.
