Project Gemini - a 47M catamaran, designed for the environmentally conscious diving enthusiast. She seamlessly combines the style and luxury of a modern super yacht, whilst also providing a platform for coral reef conservation.
The concept showcases that yachts of less than 50M are useful in supporting activities and efforts to provide a lifeline for our oceans.
Gemini’s innovative layout enables her to carry out two diverse functions seamlessly: provide the facilities for four marine biologists to engage in research and seed endangered coral reefs, and the luxury super yacht experience for the two owners and up to eight onboard guests.
A high-tech laboratory, inspired by sci-fi movies, is located between her twin hulls, providing easy access to the ocean below via a floor hatch. Gemini’s catamaran package enables her to feature a draft of only 1.65M, letting her cruise into shallow waters, shelter in small bays and get close to the reefs that Gemini aims to help save.
About myself...
I have been obsessed by yachts since a very young age, and my 4 years studying at Coventry University and a 5-month internship at Feadship (De Voogt) have further cemented this passion. My career aim is to work for a super yacht design consultancy in London.
