Lucy Calthrop-Owen

I have just completed a four year degree course in Interior Architecture and Design at Coventry University. This incorporated a year's study of interior and product design at Berlin International University, where I was able to experience design ideas drawn from a vibrant culture. I am proficient in using Vectorworks, Twinmotion, AutoCAD and Adobe packages including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.

I have enjoyed work experience in London and Nottingham, where I designed and saw through to completion an interior design project at a leading solicitors firm.

My Final Major Project: Nexus Arts House, Edinburgh

This is a proposed Edinburgh and Fringe Festival collaboration which offers an art house experience celebrating theatre, film, art and music. This project combines a variety of attractive art house features in a capital city location. The aim of the Nexus Art House would be to provide year round entertainment rooted in popular Edinburgh Fringe activities. As a hub for local artists it would offer a 49-seater theatre, an art gallery, micro cinemas, accommodation and studio spaces.
