ABOUT ME
As a student who has dreamed of being an architect since 12 years of age, I am passionate about design and construction, and have honed my strong communication skills by volunteering in the scouts and first aid. I admire the "perfection" in design, which to me translates as geometry, symmetry and simplicity. I am frequently thinking "outside the box" and critically analyse before making a decision, due to my perfectionist nature. My hobbies include, drawing, photography, model making, and am keen on expanding my skills.
THE PROJECT
The Excelsior is a well-developed complex that aims to generate public activities in the Jewellery Quarter. It offers a warm atmosphere, where people will enjoy their free time. Excluding the modern features, the Excelsior will promote the historical heritage and develop the economic and social factors of the area. The concept is mainly based on “TRANSPARENCY” and interconnections between human activities, because the main purpose is to bring back the cultural features of Jewellery Quarter. The main function of The Excelsior is a Jewellery Workshop, designed to teach people the art of creating jewellery.
