Weronika Sielska
BSc (Hons) Architecture
My Name is Weronika Sielska. I have completed my third year at Coventry University with my Final Major Project based around the site in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham.
I am a motivated and reliable student with an urge to always fill my schedule with tasks that allow me to learn and grow. Alongside my studies; I have worked a part-time job and helped run the Coventry Jiu-Jitsu club/society as one of the executives filling the role of the Treasurer. In my free time, I enjoy drawing as much as training but one of my interests also include humanitarian cases which was a topic involved in my dissertation thesis.
For my final year project, I have designed a Library and Student Research Centre is the gateway to the Jewellery Quarter. Along with the museums and workshops in the area, the library will be another gem to the celebration of the Jewellery Quarter History. I aimed to create a space that would not feel foreign to the site, using materials already existing in the area, with the design which would be accessible by all regarding age or ability.
