Sam Pritchard

Inspired by the 1960’s psychedelic aesthetic. I have created a consistent, engaging and fresh artistic style that I plan to use for musicians that need visual arts to complement their music. With skills including Screen Printing, Animation  and capabilities on various Adobe software packages, I aim to put them to the test and become a successful visual designer for the music industry.

Presented here, are illustrations that I have created for music group the ‘Unrefined’. I have done this in the lead up to their soon to be released debut self-titled EP. The project for the EP contains a front and back cover, 5 lyric pages and a promotional animation video containing 40 seconds of one of their songs (make sure to go to my website for additional works). The artistic direction that this project has taken has been closely linked to the group’s music, with my designs being inspired by the song lyrics. With topics ranging from working class life to the dangers of warfare, I have attempted to visually communcate these subjects with my illustrative style.
