Katriona Skea

I’m an illustrator who enjoys traveling and learning about cultures and getting involved in local communities. I have been brought up moving and living in several countries, which has helped inspire a lot of my work to focus on travel and integration between groups. A lot of my work is targeted towards the younger generation to make them more accepting and to educate about the differences between people and instead of judging, we should embrace these.
My project is about positive news and trying to spread it even further. More often than not, news is limited to adults and older teens, as it is usually quite negative. I want to spread positive news to everyone, especially young kids, through illustrations that would catch their eye. They are also members of society and need to know about the good things going on in the world.
